Our beloved Comrade Pankaj Chatterjee retires from service
Our beloved Com. Pankaj Chatterjee of Durgapur superannuates today the 30th June, 2024. We the members of BSNLEU extend our best wishes for his retired life.
Com. Pankaj Chatterjee started his service life as a TOA(G) at Durgapur Divisional Office on 14th March, 1983 in the erstwhile P&T department. During his service life he contributed a lot to our department whether it is P&T, DoT or BSNL. He was loved by each and every one for his sweet behavior, soft spoken and as a hard-working person.
From the beginning of his service life, he was attached with the workers movement. He gave leadership to the movement of the Telecom workers and contributed a lot to our organization as a silent worker. He is very much familiar amongst the workers as a silent worker. He contributed to various spheres of our organization. He also contributed to the cooperative, CTO CCS. He took the pain for day-to-day work of CTO, CCS despite the long journey from Durgapur to Kolkata. He was not only the vice-president of BSNLEU but also very much attached actively with CITU, 12th July Committee and as a whole with the leftist movements of the Durgapur Industrial area. He also contributed to the BSNL management for development and expansion of BSNL service. Com Pankaj left an indelible mark in our organization and in the minds of hundreds of our members for his consistent leadership, expertise and his silent service.
We wish him happiness and fulfillment of his new phase of life. Our thanks to Com. Pankaj Chatterjee for his years of service and commitment. His legacy will continue to inspire us all.
We are sure that we will continue to get his cooperation and service for the cause of the workers as before.
