The first Circle Working Committee Meeting after Durgapur circle conference of BSNL Employees Union, West Bengal Circle held today (10/09/2022) at KG BOSE SMRITY BHABAN, Kolkata. Almost all the District Secretaries and Circle Office Bearers were present in the meeting. The meeting started at 10-30 in the morning. The Red Flag of our union was hoisted by Comrade Omprakash Singh, Patron BSNLEU WB Circle. Later the Martyrs column was garlanded by all the Circle & District Leaders. The photos of Com KGBose & Com Moni Bose were garlanded by Com Omprakash Singh Patron and Com Banani Chattopadhyay, VP BSNLEU WB CIRCLE. The Circle Working Committee Meeting was inaugurated by Comrade Tapas Ghosh, Joint Convenor BSNL Coordination Committee West Bengal Circle. Com Ghosh urged everyone to vote for BSNLEU to save BSNL and the employees in the coming days. At the outset of the discussions Com Animesh Mitra, gave his presidential speech. Later Com Sujoy Sarkar, Circle Secretary BSNLEU WB elaborately described the present situation and called upon everyone to make BSNLEU the Sole Recognised Union with more than 50% vote in the ensuing 9th MV. Com Sarkar narrated the decisions taken by Extended CEC Mysore and requested the leaders to go to each & every Employee to achieve our target. He also told the Circle and District leaders to organise “Meet the Employees” & “Human Chain” programme effectively. Later the District Secretaries and Circle Office Bearers exchanged their views in the meeting. Altogether 25 leaders spoke on the occasion. Com Sujoy Sarkar, CS summed up with some concrete decisions which will be taken in the coming days. In fine Com Animesh Mitra, President BSNLEU concluded the meeting with his valuable speech. He told the total scenario of the present day and requested the leaders to take heartiest effort to make BSNLEU the only recognised union of the non executives in the coming 9th MV. A presidium comprises Com Animesh Mitra, Com Banani Chattopadhyay and Com Omprakash Singh presided in the meeting today.
